ABOUT US

 

Emerald Environmental, Inc. (EEI) was founded by William McCarthy and incorporated in the State of New York in March 1988.  After serving a tour in the United States Marine Corps, Bill became an industrial safety officer with the Long Island Lighting Company from 1963 to 1984 and with the Grumman Corporation from 1984 to 1988.  Using his vast experience gained over 24 years, he started EEI from his home in Brentwood, NY.  

 

EEI is now headquartered in Westbury, NY, which is centrally located allowing easy service to the five Burroughs of New York City as well as the counties of Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.

 

Bill turned ownership over to his son, Gregory, and long time friend, Michael Tuttle in 2014.  Both Greg and Michael also served in the Marine Corps and are both veterans of the war on terrorism.  Additionally, they are both partners in an international business consultancy company based out of Long Island, NY which focuses on business opportunities in the Southern African region.
